Laser vein removal

Extended blood vessels are not only a cosmetic defect. Their appearance may indicate the development of varicose veins and the formation of blood clots.

An alternative to classical surgical manipulations, coagulation and sclerosing of vessels is the removal of veins by a laser. This operation is of low traumatic and maximum safety, carried out for a short time, does not require long rehabilitation.

How does the vein remove the laser?

The procedure is as follows:

  1. Local anesthesia is a suitable anesthetic, usually based on lidocaine.
  2. Microscopic incision of the dilated vein.
  3. Introduction through a hole formed a thin laser light guide.
  4. Formation of a dense thrombus and displacement of the main volume of blood from a damaged vein with simultaneous sintering (welding) of its walls.
  5. Continuous monitoring of laser exposure through an ultrasonic sensor. Extracting the light guide.

After the operation, no rehabilitation period is required, the patient can immediately return to everyday activities. The only thing that is necessary in the first few weeks is regular walking tours and wearing special compression underwear .

Removal of veins by the laser on the face and under the eyes

As a rule, the expansion of venous vessels in these zones is treated by sclerotherapy or miniflebectomy. When choosing a laser removal, not one, but two to six procedures is required, since in this case, the welding of veins is done through the skin without performing a puncture.

Effects of vein removal by laser

There are no complications of the described manipulations.

Some time after the operation there may be a slight pain syndrome, redness of the skin over the remote vein. These symptoms disappear within a few days.
