Kefir is not only a delicious food product, but also a very popular means of home cosmetology. Among the various folk remedies for the face, kefir is one of the most popular. Firstly, it is available to everyone, and secondly, it contains a whole range of useful substances and sour-milk bacteria that favorably affect hair and skin.

Masks with kefir for a skin of the face

  1. Wipe your face with kefir. The simplest option, suitable for cleansing oily and combination skin. For very oily skin, it is best to take peroxidized kefir, which is specially left for 1-2 days in a warm place. Wipe your face every morning, with a cotton disc moistened in kefir, and leave it for a quarter of an hour, after which it is washed with cool water.
  2. Masks with yogurt for bleaching face. Mix the fresh cucumber with kefir crushed to the state of pulp in the ratio 1: 2. Apply on face for 15 minutes. Cucumber in this mask can be replaced with parsley. Another popular variant of the mask is a mixture of ground almonds, which are bred with kefir to the consistency of liquid sour cream. All these masks help to lighten freckles, pigmented spots, to smooth out complexion.
  3. Face masks with kefir from acne. Mix one teaspoon of chamomile and sage grass, pour half a cup of boiling water and leave for 30 minutes. Then combine two tablespoons of broth with the same amount of kefir and 2-3 tablespoons of starch or rice flour. It should be a fairly thick mixture, which is applied to the face for 20 minutes.
  4. Cleansing face mask. Mix a quarter of a glass of yogurt, 1 yolk, 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of vodka. The mask is applied for a quarter of an hour and, in addition to cleansing, also has a whitening effect.
  5. Nourishing mask with kefir. Mix kefir and oatmeal in a ratio of approximately 1: 2 (until a thick slurry is obtained). Apply on face for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Vitamin mask for the face. Mix the mashed berries with kefir in a proportion of 1: 2 and apply to the face for 15-20 minutes. For oily skin, berries such as red currants, raspberries, cranberries, cherries are suitable. For dry skin it is recommended to use gooseberries, black currants, strawberries.

To make a mask, choose kefir with a short shelf life (up to 7 days) and pay attention to its fat content. For oily skin takes the least fatty yogurt, for dry - more fatty, you can also add a little sour cream.
