Technical progress and automation of most work processes have a beneficial effect on civilization, but are detrimental to human health. Two major problems are hypokinesia and hypodynamia. Because of these pathologies, the general state of the body does not change for the better, the maximum life expectancy decreases.
A brief definition of hypokinesia and hypodynamia
The first term indicated means severe insufficiency or complete absence of daily motor activity.
Hypokinesia often leads to the development of a more dangerous disorder, hypodynamia. It is a combination of negative functional and morphological changes in the internal organs, muscles, joints and bones.
Negative effects of hypokinesia and hypodynamia on the body
The pathologies considered lead to the following consequences:
- atrophy, muscular dystrophy ;
- demineralization of bones;
- violation of metabolic processes;
- reduction of pulmonary ventilation, gas exchange rate and vital volume of lungs;
- weakening the tone of the arteries and veins;
- reduction of energy potential, mass and volume of the heart (minute);
- deterioration of the body's resistance to unfavorable external factors;
- decrease in the amount of circulating blood;
- aggression, emotional imbalance and depression ;
- lack of oxygen supply of tissues (hypoxia).
It is impossible not to note the influence of hypokinesia and hypodynamia on biological rhythms and performance. The active phase is gradually shortened, because of which the overall functionality of the organism worsens. At the same time, the possibilities of the brain, concentration of attention and ability to work are greatly reduced, giving way to weakness and drowsiness, impotence.
The harm of hypokinesia and hypodynamia can be counterbalanced by the use of regular activities by aerobic sports and active outdoor recreation.
