There comes a new year - a magical holiday, fascinating both children and adults with colorful garlands, Bengal lights and glistening tinsel. There are many different symbols of this holiday, for example, Christmas bells, angels, snowmen , stars, snowflakes and so on. But there is another symbol of the new year that came to us from Western countries - the New Year's boot.
And today I will show you how you can sew a New Year's boot with your own hands.
New Year's boot from felt on the Christmas tree - a master class
List of required materials:
- Feather 1 mm thick red, white and green;
- paper;
- a simple pencil;
- sequins of red color;
- beads of white color;
- thread of white mulina;
- needle;
- scissors;
- a narrow satin ribbon of red color;
- silicone adhesive;
- sintepon.
Progress:
- We will begin the master class with the creation of the pattern of the New Year's boot. We take a simple pencil and a sheet of paper, and draw the details of the future Christmas tree toy.
- We transfer the pattern to the felt and cut out the details of the boot in the following quantity: 2 parts of the main part of the boot made of red felt, 2 details of the upper part of the boot made of white felt, 1 detail of green felt and 3 details of berries from red felt.
- Through a green leaf from felt we pass a needle with a white thread. String on a string of berry from red felt, then a red sequin and a white bead, and return the needle and thread to the purl of the leaf through the hole in the sequin.
- Similarly, we sew the rest of the berries from the felt. It should look like this.
- Now we need to decorate the main part of the boot. To do this, thread the white mulina with a seam back with a needle in two threads, embroider four stitches, in total they will resemble a cross.
- Next, embroider four more stitches diagonally. We get the main branches of the future snowflake.
- At the end of each twig, we sew two extra ponytails.
- Between the main branches of snowflakes, heading from the center, embroider additional twigs, making only one stitch for each twig.
- We decorate the center of the snowflake with a paillette and white beads in the same way as the berries of red felt.
- The main branches of snowflakes are also decorated with sequins with white beads, and additional ones - only with beads. To the central paillette we sew two more white beads. In the end, you should get such a snowflake.
- Formed voids between the branches of the snowflake are decorated with French knots.
- With white threads of a mulina, a two-piece sash of red felt is sewn into two strings in a double-stranded seam. When we finish up to the top - we fill the boot with the sintepon.
- To the main part of the boot, sew the upper part, consisting of two white parts, in the same way that the main part of the boot was sewn. In the course of sewing the details of the boot, to its upper part we sew the satin ribbon, with the help of which in the future the boot can be hung on the Christmas tree.
- It remains to paste a green sticky note with silicone glue to the top of the boot. That's what we got.
