How to choose a school for a child?
Before you give the child to school, you need to choose the institution that suits you best. As a rule, boys and girls go to the educational institution closest to the home (and, accordingly, where they have the right to go, because they are registered at the place of residence in the corresponding territory). This seems to be the best solution, because at some point the students should start their own journey to study and go home, and this path should be as short and safe as possible. In the absence of registration at the place of residence, the direction to the educational institution is given by the city Education Board. However, in some cases, moms and dads can choose one or another institution. In doing so, you must rely not only on your own impression of the visit, but also on the opinions of the parents of other children, official information, including Internet sources.
How to apply for a child?
Before you identify a child in school, you need to prepare a package of documents, namely:
- application for admission, written by one of the parents (as a rule, it is filled in when submitting documents);
- photocopies of passports of both parents;
- certificate of birth of the future pupil;
- a medical insurance policy for a future first-grader;
- an extract from the home book, which confirms the registration of the future student at a particular place of residence;
- medical record of the student.
In some institutions this list may be supplemented by other documents within the limits permitted by law. How to attach a child to school, you need to find out at the open house in the chosen institution.
Since a child can not get into school without talking with the teacher, he needs to be prepared for this. The future first-grader should be able to:
- name your full name, know your birth date, full names of your parents;
- recognize the seasons and list their main features;
- Recognize all colors;
- to be able to call the simplest geometric figures;
- count to 10 and back;
- to solve examples on addition and subtraction within a dozen;
- read by syllables.
