The reason for the allergy to dogs
An allergy to the dog's coat always arises because of the very high sensitivity of the human immune system to the protein that is included in its composition. This does not mean that a short-haired dog will be less "dangerous" than a long-haired dog. Individual intolerance usually extends to a specific breed (even if its representatives are short-haired) or can be on a single dog.
There are dogs that do not cause allergy in humans. These include:

Symptoms of hair allergy
The main symptoms of allergies to dog hair are:
- itching, redness, burning or the appearance of rash (it is called urticaria) on the skin;
- coryza;
- increased body temperature;
- swelling of the face or limbs;
- allergic rhinitis ;
- redness of the eyes and strong tear;
- upset stomach, vomiting or diarrhea.
In some people, the functionality of the respiratory system is impaired. There is a dry cough, wheezing or choking. Any of these signs can appear both within a few minutes after "communicating" with the animal, and after a couple of hours.
Many allergy sufferers are interested in whether there is an allergy to dogs, which provokes severe forms of reaction. It's really possible. A person may have sharp swelling of Quincke or even anaphylactic shock .
