The device is switched on automatically (when the host of the balance becomes on them) or with a separate button. The error in weighing varies from 100 to 1000 g. The maximum load (depending on the manufacturer and the cost) varies from 100 to 220 kg.

Another parameter of this type of scale is the amount of memory (the device is capable of storing several measurements, as well as the values ​​of several users of the balance).
