The pancreas directly participates in digestion, responsible for carbohydrate metabolism. That is why a diet for the pancreas, preventive or curative, should contain a minimum of carbohydrates, fats and does not exclude a large amount of protein food.
Operating principle
If it is already a question of pancreatitis, a diet with pancreatic disease should promote minimal secretion of the diseased organ, minimize the load, and at the same time, promote normal, uninterrupted digestion.
Menu
Diet with a pancreas completely excludes alcohol, fats, an abundance of carbohydrates, as well as acidic foods - borsch, cabbage soup, sorrel, lemon .
In addition, the diet begins with a three-day fasting (after an attack), during which the patient can drink Borjomi water and a little broth from the dog rose.
Then follows 5 - 7 days of a strict diet. A five-time meal, plentiful drink, light vegetable broths with the addition of finely chopped potatoes and cereals, as well as ground, boiled vegetables.
Milk and butter are added to the ready-made food. Porridge is cooked from rice, buckwheat and oatmeal.
As we have already mentioned, a diet with exacerbation of the pancreas should also support intestinal motility. Due to a weakened pancreas, and also because of a new, dietary diet, constipation may occur. To avoid this, you should drink 2 liters of water a day, light tea, fruit juices, mineral water.
Soda, spices , rye bread, coffee should be completely excluded.
