Diagnosis of the intellect

Diagnosis of the intellect is a way through the test to find out how much the intellect is developed in a person. Such systems are developed by specialists and are applicable, as a rule, to a social group of a specific age. There are also systems for diagnosing intelligence and creativity. Consider one of them, using the example of the Torrance test.

This is a short test that allows you to evaluate creative thinking. It takes place in an unusual form - the subjects have to finish the drawing based on their artistic vision. Each figure the subject must add a signature to it. The test is suitable for the study of the giftedness of children between the ages of 5-6 to 17-18.

The test for intelligence and the speed of logical thinking

Among the vast variety of different techniques, tests of intelligence and mental development, there are also simple ones that you can go through in a couple of minutes.

For example, there is a kind of diagnostic test for intelligence and logical abilities, consisting of four questions. You need to pass the test as quickly as possible. (Answers can be seen at the end of the article.)

1. You participate in the track-and-field race and overtook the athlete, who ran second. Question: What place are you in now?
2. You participate in competitions and outrun the runner who ran last, what is your place in the race now?
3. Mary's father has five daughters, who are called Chacha, Cheche, Chichi, Chocho. Attention, the question: what is the name of the fifth daughter, if you think logically?
4. A little arithmetic. We do not record anything and we think in our mind as quickly as possible. Take 1,000, add 40. We add a thousand more, then another 30. Plus a thousand and a pole 20. And finally, 1,000 and 10 more. How many were there?

Psychological diagnostics of intelligence is useful and for applicants to universities, and for those who choose their profession. This is how you can find out the current state of your intelligence and identify which area you need to make extra efforts.

Answers to the test:

1. It is often answered that on the first one, however you overtook the second runner and took his place, which means that you are in second place.
2. At the last, your answer? Not true. It is impossible to overtake the latter, since you fled the last.
3. The fifth daughter is not called Chucha, as many believe, but Mary.
4. If you get 5,000, then the answer is not true. Recalculating again more carefully, you will actually see the number 4 100.
