What are decuppet napkins?
First of all, they differ in color and pattern. There are napkins on a monophonic background, with large and small images. It can be one large motif or several small ones, while they intersect or are represented as a collage. Also prevalent background napkins with small patterns, made in a single color scheme - this option is good for decorating the side or inner parts of blanks, boxes.
The subject of images is another important characteristic. There are decoupage napkins in the style of Provence and vintage, modern and ethno. Do not confuse napkins for decoupage with decoupage cards, because these are completely different things. Many newcomers do not know the difference between a decoupage card and a napkin. In fact, everything is simple: the card has a larger size, a higher density of paper and a higher quality of paints. If the napkin is a universal product that, apart from decoupage, is used for table setting, cleaning or hygiene, the decoupage card has a clearly defined purpose. Its colors do not float and do not spread, and the density of paper allows you to paste the motif of the card smoothly, without folds and bubbles.
