Poinsetia, or, as it is also called, a Christmas star - one of the most beautiful "winter" colors. It blooms from December to March, pleasing the eye and cheering up. We suggest you decorate your interior with an artificial punch, made with your own hands made of paper.
Master-class: how to make a punch from corrugated paper
To do this you need the following materials:
- corrugated paper (it is also a fortress) paper of three or four colors;
- glue stick;
- scissors;
- thin and thick wire.
- Let's start with making flower stamens. Cut the green paper into strips about 3 cm wide.
- Each such strip is twisted into a thin flagellum.
- At the end of the flagella we tie a knot.
- We make 15-20 stamens, preferably different colors.
- Now let's start making petals. Cut the red corrugated paper into rectangles 4x7 cm in size and stack each of them in half along.
- Then cut each half as shown in the picture.
- Straightening, we get a symmetrical petal of punch.
- We wrap its edges, as if rolling them into a tube. So our flower - a punch from paper - will look more realistic.
- Then cut the roll of red paper across, leaving the edge of 1.5 cm.
- Wire glue with glue.
- And we start to wind on it a strip of red paper. Our goal is to get a thin leg for the petal.
- Make as many legs as you have ready petals.
- For one flower of punch, 7 petals will suffice.
- Just do the same with green paper, forming 7 or more leaves.
- Let's proceed to assembling the flower. Collect all the stamens in a bundle and wrap them around the wire.
- To hide the wire, start winding a narrow strip of green paper on top.
- Gradually, start adding red petals to the stamens, evenly placing them around the center of the flower.
- Collect a beautiful "bouquet" of petals. Do not forget to fix it with green corrugated paper, periodically lubricating it with glue. Also, instead of corrugated paper, you can use a floral tape.
- After the head of the flower is ready, attach a thick - the stem of the punch - to the thin wire. In a picturesque order, attach the leaves to it.
So our poinsetia is ready, or a Christmas star made of paper. As you can see, it is done quite simply, but it looks very beautiful. Decorate your house with flowers!
