We will need:
- corrugated paper of blue (cornflower blue) color;
- green paper;
- paper for quilling green;
- wire;
- scissors;
- glue.
- Let's start with creating a base for a flower - a cup and a stem. The stem is made very simply. It is enough to cut off the wire of the necessary length and wrap it with green paper, previously cut into narrow strips. The end of the strip is fixed with glue. A cup for a flower is a few twisted strips of paper for quilling. Fixing the end of the glue, gently squeeze the middle of the finger to get a groove inside. Then connect the stem to the resulting cup.
- Fold a strip of corrugated paper in half, so that the width of the resulting strip is about 5-6 centimeters. Ensure that the direction of the small strips of the header is vertical. Make a lot of bottom cuts. Then cut the strip into several pieces so that each length is 2-3 centimeters. Each part is twisted with fingers in the tube, but not with simple turns, but as if you rub something between your fingers. This will give the flower element a splendor.
- Having made several dozens of such elements, you can start assembling a cornflower. First, lubricate the cup with glue, and then in a circle, start gluing small flowers. When you have finished the first circle, wait until the glue dries, and then continue. The flowers, which are located closer to the center, should be slightly shortened. They are easier to glue with tweezers.
- From the green paper folded in half, cut out a few narrow and long leaves. Glue them to the stalk. It remains to spread the leaves and the flower itself, giving it volume, and the artwork is ready. Several such flowers, put in a vase, will please you for a long time, recalling the sunny summer. The work, of course, is laborious and monotonous, but the result is worth it.
