Where is the volcano?

Chico in Spanish means small. And the truth is, he is much inferior to his gather - Wolf and the Sierra Negre and in height, and in the size of the crater. The old lava is gradually covered with fragments of fertile soil, here and there you can see cacti, some plain flowers, something like grass. Only they manage to survive in these harsh conditions. Where the lava has recently come (spills from the crater happen occasionally, without harming human settlements), nothing grows.
In addition to fantastic landscapes and a fascinating panorama that opens from the top of Chico, here you can see birds - curlews, yellow porter, finches.
The route to the top of Chico is about 12 km. All this time you have to walk on rough terrain at very high temperatures. Therefore, going on this tour, take with you:
- more water;
- cream with the highest possible ultraviolet filter;
- sneakers on thick soles;
- Backpack to put all the luggage in it;
- camera or camera.
