Today in most stores you can find a wide range of breast milk substitutes. In the production of many of them, palm oil is used as a source of fat, which, according to some pediatricians, can harm the health of newborn babies.

Based on the results of various clinical studies, the addition of this component in infant formula increases the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases and, in addition, significantly reduces the absorption of calcium by a tiny organism. Since this mineral is very important for babies, many mothers choose to give preference to infant formula without palm oil, a list of which we will mention in this article.

What mixtures are produced without palm oil?

The production of breast milk substitutes for newborn babies is being handled by a huge number of different companies around the world. Meanwhile, only a small part of them do not add this harmful component to their products. Below is a list of what mixtures are produced without the use of palm oil. So, this substance does not contain goods of the following brands:

• Similak;
• Nestle;
• Nanny;
• Nutricia;
• Mamex.

All other manufacturers are always added to the mixture for newborn infants and toddlers older than palm oil of varying purity.

In the lineup of all these brands, quite a lot of different products are presented, each of which is intended for feeding crumbs of a certain age, so choosing a suitable mixture among them is usually not difficult. In addition, there are products for children with special needs.

In particular, if a baby is prone to allergic reactions, hypoallergenic mixtures without palm oil listed in the following list may be suitable:
