The holiday of the Trinity is especially loved by the Russian people, because on that day festivities and various rituals, rooted in paganism, were officially allowed. Religious celebration is usually celebrated in mid-June - there is to be exact, then on the 50th day after the Bright Easter Sunday. First of all, it should be noted that the main day of commemoration was not the Trinity Sunday, but the preceding Saturday, which was called the parental. It was on that day that we should visit the graves of the deceased relatives, put order on them, read prayers. It was necessary to comply with certain rules:
- remember the purpose of visiting the cemetery - this is not an entertaining event, not an occasion for meetings with friends and worldly conversations, it is an appeal to the memory of relatives, it is necessary to show respect, to behave on the graves quietly and benignly;
- in no case should not bring alcohol, food is not recommended for consumption, it should be left on grave, it is also permissible to leave live or artificial flowers, birch branches;
- it is advisable to pray at the cemetery, turning to God and in this prayer to ask mercy for your loved ones;
