The small sultanate of Brunei is famous not only for oil production, but also for national parks whose territory is the real jungle. Tropical greenery, a lot of unusual animals - that's what tourists remember the reserves. One of the most visited is the national park Ulu-Temburong. Coming to Brunei, it is necessary to allocate at least one day to inspect it.
Given that it is only two hours from the capital of Brunei, the trip will not be tedious. Features of the national park Ulu-Temburong

The well-equipped resort, in which you can spend the night, is located on the bank of the Temubrong River, which gave the name and the whole reserve.
The entire resort consists of several wooden houses connected by overlapping passages. This is done specially, because tropical showers in the park are not uncommon, therefore, when going on a trip, one should be ready for them. One of the local attractions is kayaking in all weathers. An important nuance is that travelers who come during the rainy season are more lucky. The river is deep, and, therefore, you do not have to get out of the ship and push it through particularly small areas.
The zhivnost in the park appears with sunset, but it's just frogs, insects and spiders. The most interesting begins when tourists are offered to cross a bridge, behind which there is a path. Walking along it, you can get to the hill, its top is crowned by an iron construction 40 meters high. Its purpose is to acquaint tourists with surrounding trees, only this becomes possible after the ascent. Height is not as terrible as climbing multiple steps.

How to get there?
To get yourself into the national park of Ulu-Temburong from the capital, you must first sail on the boat for about an hour. This will undoubtedly be an interesting trip, because you can see what measures are being taken to transform the country. It is important to consider that the boat is a public transport, therefore a meeting and long-term neighborhood with local residents is inevitable.
The destination is a small town in comparison with the capital of Brunei , Bangar , whose population does not exceed 4000 people. The rest of the way to the park has to be overcome by car. The journey takes no more than half an hour. Find a park is not difficult, because in the place of stopping the road just ends.
