Treatment

Toxic erythema in newborns does not require treatment, only careful care is needed. Among the main recommendations are air baths. They should be taken to the child as often as possible.

With toxic erythema, it is important to exclude the moment of further deterioration of the skin of the newborn. To do this, you should take care of the blisters on the skin, for example, gently blot out these places after bathing. It is necessary to ensure that the vesicles are not lost and do not burst - this is fraught with the appearance of purulent nodules.

The general condition of the child and the temperature of his body with toxic erythema does not change, and therefore no medication is required. Sometimes experts prescribe to children reception of 5% -s' solution of glucose in volume up to 50 ml.

The main symptoms of toxic erythema, following the recommendations, take place in a week. Completely the baby's skin is restored by the end of the first month of life.
