English scaffolds are sweet or fresh instant rolls, which are traditionally served with tea. Such baking can easily and simply be prepared for breakfast, since no special ingredients, equipment or culinary skills are required.

Apple cattle - recipe

The traditional dessert version of these English rolls assumes the presence in its composition or as a supplement of apples or apple jam.

All the dry ingredients are thoroughly mixed in a deep bowl. There we also put soft butter or margarine, add milk and grated apple without skin. Gently knead the dough until all the ingredients are combined, and then divide it into 6-7 pieces. Each of them will become a single bun croquet, which before baking will need to be rounded, smeared with milk and sprinkled with the remains of sugar and cinnamon.

We put the scaffold on baking paper and send it to the oven for 15 minutes at 220 degrees.

Traditionally, ruddy cune is cut in half still hot, put a piece of butter, a spoonful of jam or English marmalade and eat, washed down with tea or compote.

Potato cattle

Potato cattle are not much like apples. Cooked from crushed potatoes, such cakes are very similar to all familiar zrazy, true without a filling, which makes this dish a whole field for flying fantasy.
