Psychological Exercises

Failures at work or in personal life often knock the ground out from under your feet and make you doubt yourself. How not to give in to despondency and restore the former clarity of mind? For this, there are special exercises.

Psychological exercises to relieve stress

  1. The air balloon . Imagine that you have a light ball in your stomach, which is inflated with every breath. When it inflates, hold your breath for 30 seconds and calmly exhale. Do this psychological exercise five to six times.
  2. Lemon . Put your hands on your knees. Relax and close your eyes. In your right hand imagine a lemon and squeeze out the juice completely from it. Do the same with the left hand, and then with two hands at the same time.
  3. Seven candles . Sit comfortably and close your eyes. Watch the breath. Imagine that there are seven blazing candles in front of you. Take a deep breath and mentally blow out the candle. Do the same with the six remaining ones.
  4. The fly . This is a psychological exercise to relieve tension from the face. Close your eyes. Imagine that the fly is about to sit on your face. It will land on different sites, and you must drive it away without opening your eyes.
  5. Lampshade . Imagine that at the level of your chest a lamp with a shade is burning. When it shines down, you feel comfortable, but as soon as you start to get nervous, the lamp starts to shine up and blind your eyes. Mentally set the light down.

Psychological exercises to increase self-esteem

  1. Make a list of your own positive qualities. If you want to develop one of them, also write them on the leaf, them yourself and try to work it out every day.
  2. At the end of the day or week, make a list of personal victories. Enter even insignificant things in the list, because they also have value. This is a very effective exercise for psychological relief.
  3. Every day read affirmations. Create yourself a positive attitude from the very morning. If during the day something "does not stick", just repeat to yourself cherished words.
  4. Listen to lectures on personal development, read books of successful people ("The Recognition Can All" by J. Kehoe, "The Richest Man in Babylon" by J. Clayson). Thus, you will find your weaknesses and will be able to strengthen them.

These interesting psychological exercises will help you quickly cope with stress. Do not think that you will master your global plan on the first day. However, over time your childish clumsy steps will lead to the goal and strengthen your faith in yourself.
