- if there is a lot of scale, then the kettle with citric acid should be boiled for 3-5 minutes;
- Drain off the dirty water and rinse the kettle thoroughly with water;
- pour clean water, bring to a boil and merge, this procedure is carried out again before permanent use.
If the kettle after the performed procedure is not completely cleared of scale, then this method can be re-used. If you perform this cleaning regularly every two to three weeks, then boiling may not be needed. It will be enough to sustain a solution of citric acid in the kettle for 20 minutes, and all the scum will come down.
