With oranges cut zest (it is convenient to make a special vegetable knife), in any case, the peel should be crushed (white cotton-like part of the crust is not needed - it will give excessive bitterness). In a container (for example, a glass jar for 1.5-2 liters), mix the orange juice with sugar and mix, trying to achieve maximum dissolution. We add vodka, mix and roll up, or in another way we seal it tightly. We put on the shelf in a room with a positive temperature (on the veranda, in the loggia, in the pantry). In the first 3-5 days, sometimes (2 times a day) slightly shake or turn the jar, then forget about it for 3 weeks. After this time, strain the tincture and pour into bottles. Before serving, the orange tincture should be well cooled.

Of course, if you act according to this recipe as the base, using not only oranges, but also other citrus fruits (lemon, lime, mandarin, climentin, pamelo, grapefruit, etc.), their juice and zest in various proportions, you can achieve very interesting and a variety of shades of taste strong home tinctures. The amount of sugar can also vary considerably.

You can make a tincture without juice, just on a zest, it's a matter of taste, but then put less sugar.

If you cook not on vodka, but on alcohol, first dilute it with clean water, you can - distilled or table bottled, better without gas. Dilute to the desired proportion (about 40-50% of the alcohol content), and only then perform all other actions.
