Nesting doll made from cloth by own hands

All known Russian toy nesting doll can be made not only from wood, but also from cardboard and fabric.

How to make a nested doll from a fabric - a master class

It will take:

1. felt 21x30 cm of base color and optional;
2. small pieces of felt black (brown) for hair and others for small parts;
3. white fabric for the face (cotton, linen);
4. embroidery frame;
5. acrylic paints and brushes;
6. for decoration: ribbons, braid, buttons, etc .;
7. filler (holofayber, sintepon);
8. a mulina of different colors;
9. scissors, needle.

1. From the fabric folded in half, for the top of the matryoshka dolls, cut out the kerchief on the pattern, leaving the allowance on the seams of 5 mm.
2. To the received detail we pin a semicircle of a pattern for the face and we cut out on a contour.
3. From the folded material we cut out 2 details of the body and the back part of the scarf.
4. We stretch the fabric for the face on the embroidery frame, pin the front part of the scarf with pins and sew it along the inner contour with the seam "forward with a needle".
5. Cut out the hair and sew on the top of the face with threads in a tone to them.
6. Remove the hoop and cut off excess fabric, leaving 5-7 mm from the seam.
7. Sew the front part of the head to the details of the trunk with white thread with a seam "forward with a needle".
8. The front part of the matryoshka is decorated with strips of felt, a bow with the form of leaves and a button, the back part with a double heart.
9. We combine the details of the matryoshka with the faces, it is important that the details of the kerchief coincide. We pin them with pins and stretch them on the typewriter, leaving the edge 5 mm and leaving the hole below.
10. We make small incisions with scissors in the places of rounding and turn out.
11. Fill the doll with filler and sew up the hole.
12. Paint a face.
