Spiritual and moral education of schoolchildren

Problems of spiritual and moral education of schoolchildren

At the end of the last century, a real cultural and moral revolution took place that shook the established system of values in the society adopted in our country. The institution of the family was questioned as the basis of the moral development of the child. This did not have the best effect on the younger generation. Adolescents became aggressive, uncontrollable.

In connection with global economic transformations in the state, a decline in the standard of living, widespread unemployment, parents often began to put the financial well-being of the family first. In the search for a decent pay for their work, many parents left their homeland or found work for several jobs at once. And at this time, their children, at best, are in the care of grandmothers. At worst - left to themselves. No one is engaged in their upbringing, it starts on its own.

Meanwhile, the fragile children's psyche is subjected to enormous information load hourly. The most diverse information, not intended for the child, literally covers it from all sides: from the media, from the Internet. Propaganda of alcohol, cigarettes, liberated and, at times, depraved behavior is carried out everywhere. And parents sometimes do not give the best example for imitation. Every fifth child grows up in an incomplete family.

The earlier parents think about the problems of the moral upbringing of schoolchildren, the better. After all, in school days, the foundation of spirituality - the moral wealth of man - is laid.

What is the process of spiritual and moral upbringing?

A lot of responsibility for moral education and worldview of schoolchildren is imposed on teachers, in particular, class leaders. A person who is entrusted with the formation of the personality of the future citizen of his power must himself possess indisputable personal qualities and be an example for imitators of his wards. Both classroom and extra-curricular activities of the teacher should be aimed at fulfilling the tasks of moral education of schoolchildren.

The program of spiritually moral education of schoolchildren consists of:

Features of methods and activities for the spiritual and moral education of junior and senior students are to strengthen the interaction between the school and parents. This is achieved through personal family meetings, holding parental meetings in an informal setting. Also, joint extracurricular activities are conducted: visits to museums, exhibitions and hikes, and sports competitions.

The concept of spiritually moral education of schoolchildren provides for the creation of such learning conditions, in which a positive attitude towards a healthy lifestyle is formed and stimulated.

One of the directions of the moral education of schoolchildren is an in-depth study of art, namely literature, music, theatrical creativity, and visual arts. For example, theatrical reincarnation, the assumption of various images visually reinforces the true values in the souls of children.

The school today is carrying out a tremendous work on the spiritual education of the younger generation. Views again turn to the study of religion. And the task of parents is, together with the teachers, to invest in the young immature souls a grain of truth.
