Cardboard boxhouse

If you are keen on making crafts for the day of Birds and your baby has already mastered the application on the "birdhouse" , it's time to start modeling!

For the craft of a birdhouse, as a rule, scraps of wooden canvases or plywood are used, but it is possible to make a birdhouse by oneself from other materials: cardboard, packages from milk or juice, plastic bottles. We bring to your attention several ideas on how to make a birdhouse from a cardboard, because it is an affordable and easy-to-use material that even a child can cope with.

Crafts - a birdhouse

This model is extremely simple, so you can make a lot of them in order to provide "housing" as many birds as possible.

1. On a cardboard basis, for example, from under paper towels, draw a circle with a compass.
2. Cut out the hole on the contour, make the bottom. Above, the house can be pasted with colored paper to attract attention.
3. From the fox of paper cut out a semicircle, glue the edges and get a roof.
4. Glue the roof to the base. Through the roof we stretch a string for hanging. Under the window we attach the wand so that the birds can sit on it. A birdhouse from a cardboard is ready to receive tenants.

Such a template can be used, both for the present, functional, and for a decorative birdhouse from cardboard. To do this, you can enlarge the template to print it out, and transfer it to a thick cardboard, preferably corrugated or left as is and decorated with various applications, decorative details and artificial birds.

We will need:

• two sheets of A4 cardboard;
• stationery knife;
• glue gun;
• Flat screwdriver;
• pencil;
• ruler;
• hole puncher.

Progress

1. We print out a template, superimpose on the cardboard and with the help of a ruler and a flat screwdriver we force out the contours.
2. We pierce with a pencil the points in which there will be holes. In the end, this is the workpiece.
3. Cut out along solid lines. Dashed lines are left - on them the parts of the birdhouse will bend.
4. The second piece is made according to the finished first.
5. Two similar details were obtained.
6. We glue the walls.
7. We glue the bottom and the roof.
8. At the location of the fixing holes, puncture them with a hole punch.
9. The birdhouse is a feeder for small birds ready.
10. On the branch feeder is attached using two ropes in this way.
11. You can make a few details, then the house will be two-tiered.
