How to calculate maternity leave in Russia?

In the Russian Federation, the total maternity leave is 140 days. In the complicated course of labor, additional maternity leave is given, while its duration increases to 156 days. Multiple pregnancy gives the right to leave for a period of 194 days.

The allowance for childbirth and pregnancy must be assessed for the entire period of leave in full, no later than 10 days after the provision of all necessary documents. Payment of money occurs on the next day of payment of wages.

You should know how to make a maternity leave. To arrange paid leave, a woman must bring an application for maternity leave and a sick leave to the personnel department or the accounts department at the work place.

The sick leave is obtained in female gynecology after reaching the 30th week of pregnancy. Ensure that it is correctly filled in block letters, blue, violet or black ink. You can not use a ballpoint pen. The application for a pregnancy leave is written by the woman in the personnel department or in the accounting department following the model.

Starting from 2011, the allowance for childbirth and pregnancy is calculated in accordance with the average earnings of a woman over the past two years. The average earnings do not include payments from the social insurance fund.

In the absence of earnings for the last two years, the allowance is determined on the basis of the minimum wage. The size of the benefit at the moment is 19,929.86 rubles. Since March 1, 2011, the district coefficient is added to the minimum allowance.

How is maternity leave calculated and paid for in Ukraine?

Article 4 of the Law on Leaves provides for a woman's right to paid maternity leave provided by the employer. Registration of the holiday takes place after the presentation of the sick-list, filled in accordance with the 6th paragraph of the "Instruction on the procedure for filling in the certificate of incapacity for work".

When granting maternity leave, the woman retains a place of work. The total length of service is not interrupted. Maternity leave should be included in the length of service that determines the right to an annual leave.

The total number of days of maternity leave is 126 days. In the case of multiple or complicated pregnancies, the duration of the holiday is increased to 140 days. 70 days fall on the prenatal period, the rest on postpartum. In the event of non-use of all the prescribed days of maternity leave, they are classified as postnatal leave.

At 30 weeks of pregnancy in the antenatal clinic, the pregnant woman receives a certificate of her position, which is provided to the body of SOSES for the benefit.

You must have a passport, a copy of 1, 2, 11 pages, bank details and your account number, identification code, a copy of the code.

If a woman does not work, a certificate from the employment center should be submitted that she is not registered. For a working woman, you should bring your work book and a copy. The student needs to take a certificate from the place of study with a note about the training department, the number of the course, the payment of the scholarship. A single mother will need a certificate on the composition of the family from the REP.
