The general course of treatment is four days.
Children older than six years as a prophylactic agent kagocel should be given one tablet once a day, for two days. After that, a break for five days is done. This cycle can be repeated many times. The number of weekly appointments is determined by the doctor. The total duration of prophylaxis with Kagocel should not exceed 5 months. In the period of Kagocel's disease, one tablet is taken three times a day, after two days the dosage is reduced to one tablet in the morning and evening. The drug takes four days.
When should I start taking kagocel?
The drug is most effective for the sick child's body, if the kagotsel administration was started no later than three days after the acute period of the disease.
