How to make warm beds in autumn?

As a rule, the construction of a warm garden in autumn involves erecting it above the ground so that the cold soil does not prevent the plant from developing. Therefore, the main principles remain high construction and shelter from cold winds.

First, we'll look at the process of manufacturing a warm, low-bed garden in the fall:

  1. The chosen place must necessarily be on a small elevation so that the planted crops can collect all the heat from the sun. But at the same time you need to protect the garden well from the wind. When the place is found, it should be covered with a cloth. This canvas must necessarily pass the water, while it is good to protect the planting from the weeds and prevent them from breaking through.
  2. From above we cover this sheet with wooden pallets. Turn the pallet upside down and set to a small elevation. As such an elevation, we take small pieces of timber.
  3. The second part of the device of a warm garden in the autumn consists in falling asleep of the soil with the addition of nutrients and organic matter.
  4. As you can see, it's very easy to make a warm bed in autumn, and your planting will not suffer even during heavy rain, because the leaves of plants will not be on the ground and will be supported from above on wooden slats.

Now we will look at how to make a warm bed in autumn with high walls:

  1. And again, a wooden pallet will come to our aid. Now we cut it into three equal parts. It is most convenient to take pallets with nine or six rows of boards so that it can be conveniently divided into three.
  2. The middle part will be the bottom of the bed, two lateral ones form the walls. From the wooden pieces we make the legs for the bed, so that it does not freeze from the cold soil.
  3. We fix in the side parts of several boards and lining the bottom of the grid.
  4. Then we fill up the mixture of straw and finished soil, we also use agrovolokno to keep the beds.
  5. Now our warm garden, made by own hands in the autumn, is planted and ready. Due to the straw planting will not freeze, and the ground is reliably protected from strong winds.
