How to draw Santa Claus?

With what do we associate the New Year? Of course, with a Christmas tree, tangerines, fun and surprises. And what a holiday without the traditional Santa Claus, this kind of forest wizard with a bag of gifts behind him. His images will help decorate the house for the New Year's celebration or will be an excellent theme for children's cards by their own hands.

Let's look at several ways how to draw Santa Claus. They differ in both the degree of complexity and design.

How to draw a cartoon Santa Claus in stages?

The main character of many New Year's cartoons is Grandfather Frost with a long beard and in a red fur coat to the heels. Draw it easily enough, gradually moving from schematic forms to a more "live" image. If the child initially does not get to draw a character by himself, be sure to help him and make a drawing together. It's a great idea to spend the evening together.

1. Draw a circle - the head of Santa Claus.
2. Add to it a fur coat in the form of a triangle, widening downwards.
3. Outline the felt boots that look from the bottom.
4. Let the hands of Father Frost be slightly bent at the elbows. And be sure to put it on your mittens!
5. Make a fur coat with a fluffy collar.
6. Draw a hat.
7. Detail the face of the character. Also note that some of the image will overlap with a long beard.
8. The staff in the hand of Santa Claus is his constant attribute. Decorate its tip with a beautiful snowflake.
9. And on the other hand, let the little bird sit.
10. Mark other details, such as the bottom of the bottom of the fur coat.

1. Divide a piece of paper in half with a vertical line. Draw a circle and a triangle, as shown.
2. Circumference will be the head - from above add a cap to it (its edging), and from below - a sharp wedge of a beard.
3. The triangle becomes the Santa Claus fur coat, add the appropriate rounding to it.
4. On top, draw a hat with a pompon on the end.
5. Add an oval face and nose to the image.
6. Let the Santa Claus's boots be covered with snow.
7. The child can easily draw eye-points and a mustache.
8. Complete the drawing with the image of the arms bent at the elbows, and the mittens.

How easy is it to draw the face of Santa Claus?

Often, for the school wall newspaper or, for example, the decoration of the window, it is required to depict only the face of Father Frost. Here already a schematic image is indispensable, it will take a more detailed study of the facial features. But this is not so difficult as it seems. So, arm yourself with a gel pen and colored pencils (or gouache, if you're going to paint a window) and start painting:

1. Draw two perpendicular lines.
2. In the center of the picture, in the place of their intersection, draw a small circle - the nose.
3. Draw a mustache to it.
4. From below is a smiling mouth.
5. On either side are the contours of the cheeks.
6. The horizontal outstretched rectangle serves as the base of the cap.
7. Inside the resulting closed figure, represent the eyes and eyebrows of the character.
