How to decorate a notebook with your own hands?

We measure the fabric on the notebook, making small reserves for bending. Do not forget to leave the allowance for the spine. Cut out the tissue from the fabric, select a window, make all the necessary labels for the allowances.
The window is cut with scissors or a quilling knife, placing the cloth on the rug. All allowances cut through the corners, act accurately and accurately. Turn off all allowances inside out and secure with pins.
Pay special attention to the corners. It is important to turn them straight up to the very end of the cut. In this case, the corners will look neat.
Lay the fabric on top of the pattern and grind with pins, sew on the edge of the window with a seam "back needle". Make sure that the frame is level. Now remove the pins and the border markings on the front side. If the fabric is worn, you can iron the cover.
