There is no better gift in the year of a Horse than a horseshoe is a charm that brings luck and well-being to its owner. In our master class we will tell you how to make a horseshoe made of beads.
For a horseshoe from beads we will need:
- beads silver or golden color number 15 - 10 g;
- needle for weaving;
- nylon thread or thin fishing line 1.2 mm thick - 2 m;
- lace;
- scissors;
- pliers;
- nippers;
- metal paper clip - 1 pc.
Getting Started
- We will make a weaving of the horseshoe from beads according to the scheme of a square bundle. Let's start the work by threading four beads around the thread and closing them in a ring. To fix the thread, we'll go around it a few times. The square formed as a result of this operation is the basis of our harness.
- Let's go on to weaving the side faces. For the first face, we thread 3 beads on the string and pass the needle into the same bead, from where the thread came out. Then thread on the thread 2 more beads, combining them with one bead core and one bead from the first face.
- For a third face, thread two beads onto a string and connect them to one bead of the second face and one bead of the stem. For the fourth face, we will thread one bead and connect it to the base and the details of the first and third faces.
- Repeating steps 2-3, continue the weaving of the horseshoe until its length reaches 9 squares.
- In order for the horseshoe to be suspended, we'll make a fastener from a regular paper clip. To do this, straighten the paper clip and bend it with the help of pliers in such a way that the middle of the loop turns out. We paste the paper clip with one side into the woven bundle.
- Continue to weave the horseshoe, so that the clip is inside the harness.
- Gently trim with the help of nippers the sticking ends of the paper clips. Let's give the harness the shape of the horseshoe.
- Our horseshoe bead is ready!
