How correctly to put a tile?

Floor tiles are most often used indoors in high humidity and permeability - in the bathroom, in the kitchen, in the hallway, in the hall. As a rule, it's perfectly feasible to put the tile on the floor with your own hands. To do this, you need to stock up with the necessary tools and materials, take into account some of the nuances of laying.

The process of laying floor tiles

For work you will need:

  1. First, the floor is leveled with a screed and covered with a primer.
  2. The glue mixture is mixed. As a rule, put the first tile on the floor correctly in the most visible far corner. The glue is applied to the tile and the floor with a notched trowel, which leaves uniform grooves.
  3. The laser level is exposed to the entire perimeter, the tiles are pressed down and leveled by hands. Straightness of the series and the horizontal nature of the surface are checked by means of a level. Plastic crosses are installed, the size of the seam depends on their thickness.
  4. Trimming is performed using a grinder.
  5. Similarly, the rest of the floor is covered.
  6. Grouting is carried out - filling them with a special compound with a rubber spatula. The color of the grout picks up the tone of the floor covering. The surface is wiped with a damp sponge and the new floor is ready.
