If you prefer to grow vegetables yourself, you must have a home greenhouse for seedlings. You can arrange a greenhouse for seedlings on the balcony or loggia. To produce it, complex materials and tools are not needed. With your hands you can make a hotbed literally from improvised means.
How to make a greenhouse for seedlings?
In our case, we use old and unnecessary doors. Depending on what size you want to make a greenhouse, you can take interior doors or small doors from old furniture. In principle, you can use any unnecessary, but strong boards.
Having built and knocked down a simple design and filled it with soil, you can start planting seeds. Pre-we make grooves, in which we lay seeds of tomato, cucumber, cabbage and any other crops.
Gently close the grooves with seeds, rakes or other garden tools and pour warm water from the watering can with a diffuser, so as not to wash them on the surface.

After this, we cover our greenhouse for seedlings with a thick film. This is necessary to maintain heat and high humidity in a container with seeds for their rapid germination.

We fix the film with rubber bands, so that the design is sealed, but it was convenient to remove it for ventilation.

About two weeks later you will see the first green shoots under the film. Do not rush to remove the cover immediately, do it gradually, so that the temperature difference does not become stressful for seedling. And after a time when 1-2 real leaves will appear on the sprouts, they will need to be thinned out or dived into separate containers for further growth and development.
The collected greenhouse is useful to you more than once. Next year you will be able to use it again, updating the soil in it.
