Before you start making glass mosaics with your own hands, you need to decide what we will decorate in this way. Here is an example of decorating a flower pot.
- You need to start working with the preparation of the mosaic elements. It's about the glass that needs to be cut right. We take a sheet of transparent glass, attach to it a ruler and cut it along its contour with a glass cutter. It's better to do it with gloves, so as not to get hurt.
- After the glass cutter has drawn the line in the right place, we take a piece of glass in one hand, and in the other - pliers, rewound with electrical tape. With the help of pliers it is necessary to break off the strip of glass.
- Then cut the resulting strip of glass on the squares with a glass cutter.
- We get such material.
- After that, we paint the glass in the right colors with the help of a normal brush and let it dry.
- We take a flower pot and apply a pre-designed drawing to its surface with a pencil.
- We apply a transparent glue "Moment" on a small area of the pot and glue the glass according to the drawing.
- Then you need to use the grout and putty knife to wipe the seams. For this, the mixture must fall into the seams. Do it quickly, so that the grout does not freeze ahead of time. After the solution dries, it should be removed from the pot with a rag.
