How to weave a gladiolus from beads?

Schemes of weaving gladioli from beads are in many respects the same as when weaving violets . The technique is French weaving.

  1. Let's start with the upper side lobe. Cut from a thin wire of 60 cm, string 15 beads. The base of the petal was obtained. Continue weaving to make a petal consisting of 8 rows of beads. Such lilac petals of two shades must be made 2.
  2. We make the upper central two-color petals. The axis of the petal consists of 4 beads, the 2nd and 3rd rows form a circle near the central part. We make the weaving so that the petal turns out to be pointed.
  3. For the manufacture of the lower side lobes we need a piece of wire of 60 cm. We put 12 pink beads on the wire - this is the axis of the petal. Spade pointed petals.
  4. Flattering the lower central pink petal. The algorithm is the same. The basis is 4 beads, two rounded rows, then a smooth transition to a pointed shape.
  5. Pistils and stamens are very easy to make. We dial 11 beads on the wire and fix the loop. For each flower you need 3 stamens.
  6. For a pistil we cut off 15 cm of wire, place a white bead in the center 1, twist both ends of the wire. The pestle requires 3 such elements.
  7. We begin to make the last details of the flower - leaflets. We make them pointed.
  8. As soon as all the details are ready, proceed to assembling the flower. Flowers and buds are attached to the stem on the right and left.
  9. A piece of thick wire 1 m long, wrapped in a string and glued. We twist 4 leaves into buds.
  10. Dress each of the buds alternately on the stalk to the right and left at a distance of 2 - 3 cm and wrap the thread, necessarily promazyvaya stalk glue.
  11. Now fasten the bud at a distance of 3 cm. To close the place of attachment, place green leaves at the bottom of the bud.
  12. Twist the big petal - this will be the 2nd bud. We attach the same as the first.
  13. 3rd bud - we twist a big petal, we attach a small one, slightly bending it aside. We add leaflets.
  14. 4th bud - a large petal without a pattern is twisted, the rest is attached, also bending. We add leaflets.
  15. Fasten each of the colors as follows: add a piece of wire to the stem, slightly bending it aside, fasten the stamens, pistils and the flower itself, wrap the thread, and the place of fastening is covered with leaves. Do not forget to glaze with glue. After fixing the last flower, we cut off the excess wire. We put the flowers in the shape.

The regal gladiolus is ready!
