Ginger lemonade - recipe

Tasty and useful homemade lemonades can be cooked not only from lemons and limes. For the preparation of refreshing drinks, root vegetables are often used.

Ginger, as we know, is an extremely useful plant, it contains many important substances for the body, vitamins and amino acids that a person needs. Fresh root has a characteristic, quite pleasant, slightly burning taste. Systematic use (at reasonable doses) of lemonade with ginger lemon actively promotes "fat burning", so this drink can be recommended to those who wish to reduce weight. In the cold season, ginger drinks can be consumed in hot form - this is an effective warming agent.

Preparing the lemonade at home is not an easy matter, it will take a root of ginger, lemons, water and - if desired - some more components (although these are quite enough). So, consider several ways how to prepare lemonade - a delicious and healthy drink.

Ginger root thoroughly washed and crushed with a knife. With lemons we cut off the tips, cut them into lobules, remove the bones. We put the slices in the bowl and fall asleep with sugar. We slightly remember a soup or a spoon of lemons with sugar. We boil the water. We place sliced ​​ginger in a liter thermos, pour boiling water, close and leave for 1 hour. In any case, do not pour the lemon with boiling water, because at high temperatures, vitamin C, contained in citrus, is destroyed. When the ginger infusion is ready, we cool it to warm and mix it with sugar-suppressed lemons. Add 2 leaves of mint (you can also mash with a pinch of sugar). Filter, pour into a bottle (preferably glass) and cool to room temperature, and then put in the refrigerator. The ideal temperature for lemonade is + 8-11 ° C.

Gourmet lemonade with ginger, lime and anise seeds

We prepare this drink without sugar. We replace it with honey or stevia (gives a sweet taste) - so lemonade becomes more dietary.

Ginger root thoroughly washed, crushed with a knife and placed in a thermos with a capacity of 1 liter. There we put the seeds of anise and a spoonful of stevia (if we use honey, then add it to the prepared lemonade to preserve the useful substances). Fill with boiling water and leave for an hour.

With lemon and lime cut the tips and cut the fruits in half. Squeeze juice into a separate cup (there are special hand juicers for citrus).

Infusion cool and add the juice of lemon and lime (honey is added at this stage). Season with mint, let's brew for half an hour and filter. Pour into the bottle and cool it.
