38-year-old Amal Clooney, the wife of Hollywood actor George Clooney, is a highly sought-after lawyer. On her account, high-profile cases in which she defended the policy of Yulia Tymoshenko, journalist Julian Assange, ex-president of the Maldives Mohamed Nasheed and many others. Now her client is the 23-year-old girl Nadia Murad Basi Taha, who was held captive by IGIL for several months, and is now chosen as the UN Goodwill Ambassador.

The 38-year-old lawyer is not accustomed to talk about her work, but due to the fact that her client talks a lot, Amal decided to give an interview in which she told why she began to defend Nadya. Here is what Amal said:
"Nadia Murad Basi Taha belongs to the Yezidis, to the Kurdish ethnoconfessional group. The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the European Parliament, the governments of Great Britain and the United States recognized that there is a genocide of such people as it is in Iraq. Why does the court in The Hague pay no attention to this? Of course, George is aware of this case. We recently discussed it. We are aware of the risks that I face. "
Despite all this, the Hollywood actor is very worried about his wife, telling everyone about her work:
"I understand how important the case is with Amal, but I'm very worried about her. Still, to fight in court with IGIL is a complex and dangerous matter. I myself talked with Nadia, and I understand how valuable and necessary is the help of Amal to this girl. In general, I am very proud of my wife. You do not know what I feel when I see her in court. We know very little about how George Clooney and Amal met and how many met. The news of their engagement appeared in the press in April 2014, and the wedding of Amal and George took place in 5 months in Venice. Despite the completely different kinds of activities, the spouses always support each other. Once in one of her interviews Amal said these words:
