Fractional thermolysis

Fractional thermolysis is the procedure for laser skin resurfacing, a modern hardware method for removing small scars and other defects. Today in large cosmetology clinics you can perform fractional thermolysis of the eyelids, scars on the face, stretch marks in the abdominal area. Effective procedure against fine wrinkles and age spots. Consider how laser resurfacing takes place.

How is fractional laser thermolysis performed?

Grinding is possible due to the ability of the laser to penetrate into the deep layers of the epidermis. When the structure of the skin is destroyed, regeneration processes are stimulated. As a result, collagen is actively produced. Restoration of cellular structures smooths defects.

  1. Before the procedure should be completely removed cosmetics, if it is a fractional thermolysis of the face, "decorated" with scars from acne or wrinkles.
  2. Approximately 30 minutes before thermolysis, a cream-anesthetic is applied to the skin. The procedure causes painful sensations, therefore local anesthesia is mandatory.
  3. Immediately before thermolysis, the skin area is treated with a special lubricant, ensuring a good glide of the laser beam.
  4. When exposed to the laser, the upper layer of the epidermis is evaporated, which allows smoothing out the defect.
  5. After the procedure, the skin is treated with a soothing cream.

Modern preparations remove microscopic zones, which allowed to significantly reduce the trauma of the skin and, consequently, shorten the period of recovery.

Contraindications to thermolysis:

After thermolysis, the burning sensation is felt throughout the day, the skin turns red and swells. Reducing discomfort is possible by treating the surface three times a day with Panthenol spray.
