These can be drops, eye ointments, gels that relieve the sensation of a foreign body in the eye, affecting the root cause of this symptom.
If an uncomfortable symptom is associated with a deep penetration of a foreign body, microsurgical intervention may be necessary. Therefore, it is best not to delay the visit to the doctor to prevent the development of serious complications that threaten the loss of vision.
