Prince and Princess of Monaco visited the Red Cross Ball

The other day in Monaco was the 68th Red Cross Ball, which is held every year under the patronage of the first person of the state, Prince Albert II. The host of the evening was traditionally the ruling couple - Prince Albert and Princess Charlene.

The gala dinner was held at the Salle des Étoiles restaurant, at the Monte Carlo Sporting Club.

Of course, all the attention of the guests of the secular party and the reporters was riveted to the hostess - the wife of Albert II. Princess Charlene looked simply amazing, she chose a gentle lilac dress with a bodice, decorated in the form of flower buds. The color of the toilet came very close to the fair hair of the crowned person and favorably emphasized the natural beauty of Charlene. As ornaments, she chose massive chandelier earrings, a chain with a pendant, a neat ring and a clutch literally strewn with precious stones. The final touch is a bouquet of bright orange flowers.

A charity ball is a time to receive gifts

The event, which takes place under the auspices of the Red Cross, has certain characteristics. During dinner, high-ranking guests and seleberitis are not offered to buy lots (as on ordinary rauts of this format), but on the contrary - they are given valuable prizes.

The most valuable gift this year, for example, is the Chopard wristwatch, encrusted with diamonds.

Guests of the evening waited for a pleasant "intangible" surprise - a mini-concert from Lana Del Rei. Her performance was the final chord of the gala dinner. The festive salute, which the ball always ended, was canceled due to the tragic events in Nice.
