Film Heater

In the modern interior is no longer the place of outdated heating systems, but the choice of heater is still a complicated matter. Thanks to the development of technologies, an economical, safe, inconspicuous film electric heater has appeared.

The principle of the film heater

The film heater is a film-covered infrared element that generates rays under the action of electricity. By analogy with the sun's rays, they heat the surface with which they come into contact. That is, the main difference of such a heating system is that the structures are heated, not air. This contributes to a uniform heating of the room, without the accumulation of warm air under the ceiling. The thickness of the film heaters can be different depending on the parameters of the room and whether it will be a single heating or an additional one.

Location of film heaters

Since the infrared film is very thin - only 3 mm in thickness - it can easily hide during repairs under the finish of the floor, walls or ceiling. Once popular outdoor wall-mounted film heaters are certainly inferior to those that are mounted inside. Firstly, they are noticeable in the interior and not always successfully supplemented, and secondly, they can heat very limited areas, while modern infrared film heaters do not have space limitations. However, in the walls of the film is mounted rarely, usually the question arises - to prefer film ceiling heaters or install them on the floor. And one and the other option cope with their tasks, but the warm floor is still preferable. The rays of the infrared film ceiling heater can not reach the entire surface of the floor, since some of it is covered with furniture, while the rays directed from the floor distribute the heat evenly by convection.
