Depilation of legs

Depilation of the feet is now a familiar procedure for many women. Each lady chooses the most comfortable for her and an effective way to get rid of hair. Let's try to figure out which modern methods of depilation is preferable.

Depilation of feet with wax

Wax depilation is carried out using a cold, warm and hot substance. The effect is noticeable from several days to one and a half months.

Depilation of the feet with wax strips (cold wax), due to its painfulness, is used exclusively to eliminate hairs on limited areas of the body. The procedure is as follows:

  1. Wax strips are heated to a temperature close to the temperature of the human body.
  2. Strips are removed from the protective layer.
  3. The wax strip sticks to the skin.
  4. The strip is removed with a jerk. The adherent hairs are removed together with the wax.

For depilation with warm wax the composition is heated to a temperature of 40 degrees. Using a special device, the wax solution is evenly applied to the surface of the skin. On the cooled wax a strip of paper is glued, which firmly grasps it. The strip breaks sharply from the legs, along with it, the unnecessary hairline is removed.

Depilation with hot wax in cosmetology is called "hot waxing". This is the most painless way of depilation with the use of waxy compounds and is therefore used to eliminate hair from extensive areas of the skin. Wax is removed with cosmetic napkins.

Chemical Depilation

Depilation with chemicals (creams, gels) is a very convenient method. The active substance applied by a layer on the skin acts on the structure of the hair, destroying the bulbs, resulting in the death of the hairs. The spatula for depilation of feet is easily removed by the spatula. It is recommended to protect the treated areas from moisture for a short time. The duration of the effect after the procedure is several days.

Possible problems after the procedure

Irritation after depilation on the legs is not uncommon, especially if there is a tendency to allergies or the skin is very sensitive. Experts advise to carefully study the composition of the depilatory and conduct a skin test before the procedure. If the feet after the depilation are itchy, the skin turns red, then you should apply nutrients based on chamomile, celandine, tea tree and other inflammatory medications. It is forbidden to use alcohol solutions in case of chemical depilation, which can provoke a burn.
