Crocodile farm


A crocodile farm (Nairobi Mamba Village) is located 15 kilometers from the Kenyan capital of Nairobi .

What to see?

Crocodile farm is considered the largest in the state, nowadays its inhabitants are about 10 thousand crocodiles, different kinds of turtles and net giraffes. Also here is a magnificent botanical garden, in which aquariums with exotic fish and terrariums with snakes, spiders and scorpions are placed.

The territory of the farm is divided into zones in which there are places for accommodation of adult alligators and their offspring. In addition, the park has its own restaurant, where you can try a variety of crocodile meat dishes, there is also a four-star hotel, ready to accommodate people for the night and a souvenir shop selling gadgets.

On the territory of the farm you can move independently or negotiate with the park's employees who will tell the story of its foundation for a moderate fee, show the most interesting inhabitants and even hold a small representation with their participation.

The most convenient transport is a car on which you should drive on the Langata N Rd motorway, which will take you to the sights . Those who wish can use the services of local taxis or go for a walk, which promises to be interesting and informative.

You can visit the farm in Nairobi on any convenient day from 10:00 to 20:00. If you do not like fuss, then prefer Monday or Tuesday, when the farm is not crowded. As for the time, the best option will be 17:00 hours, when the heat drops and, in addition to the excursion, it will be possible to observe how the crocodiles are fed. The admission price is 700 Kenyan shillings.
