Chronic cholecystitis

Chronic cholecystitis is an inflammation of the gallbladder. There are two types of disease:

Symptoms of chronic cholecystitis:

When there are symptoms of chronic cholecystitis, it is necessary to establish the cause and form of the disease. The cause may be infection from the intestine and from other inflamed organs (tonsillitis, appendicitis, periodontitis, etc.). Chronic cholecystitis can also result from diseases of the digestive tract, parasite damage, acute cholecystitis, biliary stasis in the gallbladder, eating disorders, endocrine disruption. Symptoms of chronic cholecystitis can be similar to those of liver and other organs, so treatment will require a survey.

Exacerbation of chronic cholecystitis manifests itself in a rise in temperature, the pain is similar to hepatic colic, in severe cases jaundice appears.

In contrast to acalcular cholecystitis, after exacerbation of chronic calculous cholecystitis, normalization of immune parameters is not observed.

For the diagnosis of chronic cholecystitis, blood tests, analysis of lithogenic properties of bile, duodenal contents, ultrasound and dynamic ultrasonography should be submitted. Also commonly prescribed cholecystography, thermography, tomography, etc.

Treatment

Treatment of chronic cholecystitis will depend on the cause of the disease and the presence of gallstones. With calculous cholecystitis, surgery is most often prescribed. In the case of acalculous cholecystitis, accompanied by diseases or disorders of the work of other organs, treatment will be conservative. If symptoms occur and during treatment of chronic cholecystitis, a special diet should be observed.

Diet in chronic cholecystitis:

With exacerbations of cholecystitis diet plays a particularly important role and prevents the occurrence of seizures. Adherence to proper nutrition is important both for the effective treatment of cholecystitis, and for its prevention.

Treatment of chronic cholecystitis with folk remedies is possible only after examination and consultation with a specialist. If cholecystitis is only a consequence of other diseases, then treatment will not bring results until the cause is eliminated.

If symptoms of cholecystitis appear, do not postpone the diagnosis - cure the disease at an early stage is much easier than afterwards to undergo treatment by surgery or suffer from bouts of pain that affect not only the health status but also the mental state.
