Christmas decorations

When it's time to decorate the house for the winter holidays, immediately reveals a lack of 2 things: jewelry and time. So if the new year did not have time to give proper attention to the decoration of the house, you can do it for Christmas. Over time, figured out, but what about ornaments? Here, too, everything is easily solved - you can make Christmas decorations with your own hands.

Herringbone made of cloth

Here, for example, you have accumulated a lot of shreds of different colors and sizes. It seems to be a pity to throw out, and where to put this wealth is not known. There is a way out - you can make a fur-tree from these shreds. For it, we will need shreds, needles, beads, glue, ribbons and a stand. For the stand, you can take a small wooden bar or plastic box from under the cream, the main thing is that it should be the right size, or the Christmas tree will fall down.

  1. We prepare shredders for work - we spread them from the largest to the smallest. If the pieces of fabric are about the same, they will have to be cut a little. So that when assembling the herringbone turned out as a cone.
  2. We fix the knitting needle in the stand.
  3. We string on a knife, from the largest to the smallest.
  4. At the top we fix a large bead or an asterisk sewn from the same scraps.
  5. Now we decorate the Christmas tree with beads and ribbons, fixing them with threads or glue.

And it does not matter if the fabric is far from green. A varicoloured Christmas tree will also look cute and interesting. Try it.

Scented pouches

These Christmas decorations, made by own hands, will please not only the eye, but also the sense of smell. You will need fabric, beads, sequins, lace, cereals and essential oil (you can use any flavor, but to create the mood of winter holidays it is better to take fir, pine or juniper oil).

  1. Take a bit of buckwheat or other grains, pour it into a jar with a tight-fitting lid. We drip a few drops, selected essential oil, close and shake. Leave the jar for several days to allow the oil to soak.
  2. We sew bags from pieces of cloth.
  3. We bend their upper edge inward and spread out so that a space is formed for the lacing of the lace.
  4. We pass the lace and decorate the bag with embroidery, beads and paillettes.
  5. Fill the bags with fragrant cereal and hang around the house, for example, on the door handles. The smell will gradually erode, so do not forget to refresh the filler from time to time.

Christmas socks for gifts

When you watch foreign movies about Christmas, the eye constantly clings to the Christmas socks hanging over the fireplace. Everyone can boast of a fireplace, but why not hang such socks in other places? Those who with knitting needles and woolen threads on "you" can easily bind such ornaments for Christmas, decorating them with winter attributes - snowflakes, fir-trees, etc. If the knitting experience is small, the socks can be sewn. You will need a fabric of two colors, for example, blue and white (as in the picture), a pencil, threads, scissors, sparkles for decoration, beads or a silver contour for drawing on fabric.

  1. Fold the blue fabric in half.
  2. Draw on it the contours of the toe, remember the allowances.
  3. Cut it out (to make it less sewing, the folding place is not cut).
  4. Fold the sock with the inside sides and sew it.
  5. We turn out our socks, straighten the seams.
  6. A white cloth crochet with a strip of width of 20 cm and a length equal to the width of the sock. It will be a rim.
  7. Slightly fill the white fabric inside the sock so that the seam is out of sight.
  8. We spread the top of the rim, retracting 0.5-1 cm from the edge.
  9. We fold the bottom of the white scrap and also sew it to the main boot. If the fabric is not loose, then this operation can be skipped.
  10. Now we sew a ribbon to our nosochku and decorate it. We extend the beads, glue the sequins, draw snowflakes with a contour or make appliqués from a material of a different color.

If you like to make these Christmas decorations, then from the socks you can make an entire garland and place it on an empty wall or a fir tree (if it is large enough).
