The modern curriculum is very different from the one that was in our childhood. Our children have to work much more at the computer and spend time for their lessons. It is not surprising that scoliosis and other problems of the musculoskeletal system occur many times more often, not to mention vision .
Children's chairs for the computer: selection criteria
Among the huge variety at once to choose the ideal model for your child the model will be problematic. The easiest way is to look for a chair, based on several criteria:
- put the child behind a chair and make sure that in this position his legs are bent at right angles (mandatory condition - the back and seat are adjusted, and ideally these are the anatomical forms of the chair);
- wheels - a very controversial issue: on the one hand, they make it easy to move from table to cabinet, but on the other hand it is a complication of maintaining posture (here it is worth choosing individually);
- armrests can only be if they can also be adjusted (otherwise it is another way to curving the spine);
- fabric for tightening the frame should be easy to care for and not synthetic (otherwise problems with allergies in children prone to rashes can not be avoided);
- for children of low growth, the problem remains of the dangling of the legs, which is unacceptable during work at the table (always look for a chair with a special substrate under the feet).
Computer chairs for schoolchildren: classic options
First, consider the most popular and recognizable models of computer chairs and armchairs. Among them, the traditional computer chair is the most popular model. The simplest models have a flat back and a fairly stiff seat, so it's hard to sit out on such a chair for a long time.
As an option, you can consider models more expensive with a soft back, which can be adjusted by tilting, and with the same soft seat. There are additional armrests to such chairs, but there is no point in fixing them, since regulation is not provided.
If you buy a children's computer chair with wheels and armrests, then only orthopedic. The cost of such furniture is high, but fully justified by the service life and even back of your child. Typically, such models are growing and one chair is enough for the entire period of training from the first to the last grade.
Children's chairs for the computer: a modern approach
Some parents prefer solely orthopedic shoes, anatomical mattresses and pillows, and therefore only the "right" chair is chosen. Among modern developments in the world of computer chairs for the home there are many successful models.
- Ergonomic chairs fully take into account the anatomical features of the child's body, so that the backrest will not get tired even after a large amount of work at the table. There are three latest developments:
- the so-called knee stool has a slightly inclined forward back and the main emphasis is on the baby's knees, for which a special support is provided;
- there are models with a seat in the form of a saddle, and the back is fixed only in an upright position;
- if your child is an amateur swinging on a chair, then the so-called chair-balance will be the ideal solution - the lower part of the chair is made in the form of a rocking chair.
It is worthwhile to understand that buying furniture for studying a child is a responsible thing, and it is better to leave a certain amount of money in a furniture store than in a surgeon's office.
