But this is not always the means, and the desire to make the pleasant does not disappear anywhere. For such crafts do not need a lot of time, but it will be appropriate for any holiday, for example, as an addition to the main gift for the birthday or as a small present for a less significant event.
How to make a wish book for your husband with your own hands?
Before you start creating such an original gift, you need to prepare everything you need: scissors, glue, paints, cardboard, scrap paper, pencil, eyelets, sintepon, paper, fabric, ribbon for binding the book and decoration for the cover. You can do without scrap paper, using for this thin color cardboard and cuttings from magazines, and a soft crust is also not an obligatory attribute. Also for the wishbook you will need a wish list that can be printed, cut and pasted onto pages or simply written on each piece of cardboard as desired. On the first sheet you need to arrange the rules for using a checkbook:
- who owns the book;
- validity;
- the number of checks that can be used per day;
- terms of fulfillment of desires, etc.
After preparing everything you need, you can start creating a checkbook for your loved one.
- Cut out of paper cards according to the number of desires that you are going to give to your husband. The size of cards can be any, but it is more convenient to do 10x15 centimeters. Now you need to print out the wishes and paste one on each page. At the bottom, we leave room for a performance note so that one desire is not required to be performed twice. Desires can be any, for example, an evening with friends, the purchase of any thing (within the allocated funds), a trip to fishing, bowling, any fantasy in bed, etc.
- Now let's start creating a cover. To do this, cut out two pieces of cardboard 11x13 (for the front cover) and 11x15 (for the back). Next, cut the paper 11x15 for the front cover and glue it to the cardboard so that the free edge of the paper is on the left.
- Now for the front cover you need to cut the fabric and sintepon. The fabric is cut to size 11x15, adding 2 cm from each edge, and 5 cm to the left. Synthepone is cut out according to the size of the cardboard.
- In the same way, we prepare everything for the back cover, only here we cut out the fabric by the size of the cardboard, adding 2 cm of allowance on each side.
- We begin to glue the back cover with a cloth. We put the sintepon on the front side, and on top we cover with the material. To it lay flat, use a bit of PVA glue, and do not start sticking from the top and bottom bands. Then we bend the sides, carefully processing the corners. To make it easier, you can slightly cut the fabric into folding places, not reaching 2 mm to the edge.
- Now, on the back cover, we paste the card (photo, cutout from the magazine), punched holes for the eyelets and put them.
- In the same way, we glue the front cover, beginning with a piece of paper free from the sintepon. Draw a sharp object along the edge of the cardboard to form a binding. Then turn the lid and proceed as from the back.
- On the front cover we punched the holes for the eyelets, set them and are engaged in decoration. You can use any decorative elements, do not forget to specify the name of the gift recipient.
- It remains only to collect a book, passing the ribbon through the eyelets and tying it. You can add decorative elements to the tips or tie them with neat knots to look beautiful.
