In the western part of Buryatia, striated by mountain ranges and river valleys, in the Tunka region near the mountain river Kyngarga there is a small, but well-known to all Siberia village Arshan.

The glory of the village, located at the foot of the Sayan Mountains, rattled once in all the territory of the former Soviet Union. Arshan, famous among the resorts of Baikal as a balneological and mountain health resort, receives visitors throughout the year.
