Appliques from felt

The first crafts that come out from under the baby's arms are, as a rule, appliques . The smallest usually work with colored paper, but older children already want to master more complex products. We suggest you familiarize yourself with children's applications made of felt - a textile material made of felted wool.

How to make an applique from the felt "Flower"?

1. Prepare from the thick paper or cardboard templates of the same shape, but different in size, four flowers. Also cut out a pattern of the middle of the flower - a small circle.
2. Then follow these patterns to cut flowers from colorful felt. If you want to make a few flowers, you can immediately cut them in the right amount.
3. Using a universal adhesive, glue the two lower parts (in the photo it's yellow and blue) together.
4. In the same way, glue a red part to them, and then a green one.
5. In the center of the green flower, glue the center.
6. On the contour of the second, blue flower, sew beads. It is better if they are a contrasting color, for example pink (the thread in this case is also better to take pink, in tone).
7. Sew a bead and other flowers, and the outline of the middle, sweep the usual thread with a dashed line.
8. Decorate the center of the application with a small button.

Master class for applique from the felt "Ladybug"

1. This application is slightly more complicated than the previous one. To perform it you will need: felt of red and black colors, the same threads, scissors, glue "Moment universal", a needle and beads (black and white).

2. Cut out the following parts of the applique according to the patterns:

• two black details of the trunk of a ladybug;
• one detail - red wings;
• four small black circles - points on the body of an insect.

3. Glue the dots to the wings, as shown in the photo.

4. Each of them bead with beads, using beads of white color and black thread.

5. Glue the resulting part of the product on top of the trunk part.

6. Stress the wings of the insect: clip them around the perimeter with black beads.

7. If this article is not fully sewn or will be used as a toy for a child, you can strengthen it by gluing one more detail of the trunk from below, but this is not necessary. Do not forget to sew the ladybug of the antennae - two large black beads.
