Where to complain about the employer?

For sure, each of us had at least once a conflict with the authorities. In most cases, these were just solutions to some operational issues, confluence of circumstances and similar situations. However, conflicts are also not uncommon, which are inflamed because of the bad faith of the chief or director. Many of us still do not know what to do in case they delay or do not pay wages, do not let go on leave, change the schedule, and where to complain about the employer. Let's look at how to punish the unscrupulous employer, where to complain about the boss and what measures to take in such cases.

Is the boss always right?

The main problems with the boss often arise from our ignorance of the laws or the unwillingness to get a job according to the Labor Code. Of course, there is a good reason for this: the employer does not always agree to pay inflated taxes for his employees, and therefore does not deal with their proper registration at the place of work in accordance with the law. In most cases this is compensated by considerable salaries, and the employee agrees to such conditions. However, in a conflict situation, such employees simply will not have any legal grounds to prove their case, in this case it is not known how to punish a dishonest employer. You can advise you to contact the organization where you can complain about the employer, but without having the necessary documents, you can not win a dispute. Moreover, unscrupulous bosses often use legal "illiteracy" of workers and deliberately provoke conflict situations in order to cash in on them.

How to punish the employer?

In situations where all your working documents are drawn up in accordance with the law, and the authorities are not right on this or that issue, one should not be silent and bear resentment and embarrassment. Usually, the actions committed by the employer have no legal basis, and the employee nevertheless has his rights. In such cases, you need to know how you can punish the employer and whom to complain about the boss. Here are a few simple tips:

  1. Find out who to complain about the employer. Even if you do not have conflict situations, this information will never be superfluous. Find all the data of organizations that deal with the protection of workers' rights, labor inspections in your city or area.
  2. If the conflict situation takes place, it is worth specifically to determine their claims to the authorities. Specify exactly which of your rights are violated, whether there are reasons for this, whether the situation can be rectified.
  3. Write a complaint to the boss. In other words, formalize your claims in writing. The complaint is an official document, it can be done by the labor inspectorate at your place of residence.
  4. Attach to the complaint the necessary documents proving that the employer has violated your rights. This may be an employee's labor contract with the employer, describing the rights and obligations of the parties, or other documents.
  5. All collected papers and documents can be submitted to the inspection in person, or sent by mail. In any case, it's worth making sure that the documents are accepted, the incoming number is displayed, and specify which inspector they are under consideration.
  6. The next step will be taken by the labor inspectorate - they will inspect the organization or institution, draw up an act on violations of your rights, after which these violations must be eliminated within the specified period. On the implementation of instructions, the employer must submit a report to the inspection.

In case you do not want to advertise your name, you can contact the inspector with a request for his non-disclosure. You will have to write a complaint on your behalf and sign, as well as submit all the documents. But during the inspection, the inspector will demand documents from other employees, so it will be difficult to find out from whom the complaint has been filed.
