Wall Murals

Frescoes on the wall - a pleasure not cheap. But the design of the room is incredibly spectacular and expensive. As an alternative, modern technology offers an excellent tandem in the form of frescoes and photo wallpapers. Wall-papers in the form of a fresco on a wall are used both as an accent paired with conventional wallpaper, and for finishing all the walls.

Photo wallpapers under a mural - what are they?

What is a wall-paper fresco? In fact, this is a large piece of paper with some drawing, but the technique of applying is special. It is thanks to its texture, these wallpapers are used not only for the decoration of walls and ceiling, but even for renovation of old furniture or doors.

Photo wall murals are quite similar to real frescos by applying a special lacquer. When it completely dries, microcracks appear on the surface, which give the effect of an old fresco. The most important thing in applying a varnish is speed and accuracy, since the layer should be uniform.

Photo wall mural in the interior

Modern designers have long abandoned stereotypes and have ceased to decorate with only one wall or part of it. Of course, the option with the use of paintings in the form of paintings or partial wall decorations remains in demand. But there are also grandiose projects, where wall-papers under a mural glue on a wall and even on ceilings. In most cases, this is an unobtrusive story, diluted half-tone. Photo wallpapers under a fresco allow you to recreate the ancient interiors of castles. In this case, the plot pictures in more dark tones will suit. Do not want to overload the atmosphere too much, then use the so-called picture formats. This is a small area of the image: reproductions of famous canvases, modern famous motifs, images of the world's most famous landmarks. Frescoes are used for the design of halls, cabinets and spacious hallways. Less often they can be found in kitchens or balconies (if the latter are used as an extension of the room).

At such registration it is necessary to think over in advance and other filling of a room. For example, furniture should be chosen from natural wood, preferably with a visible texture of wood. Particularly well, the fresco looks paired with heavy expensive textiles , not necessarily of a dark color. And of course, this is an ideal solution for a classic interior, but even in modern designs there was a place for a fresco.
